I.ExpatCARE Individual
The I.ExpatCARE is offered to Malaysians and permanent residents of Malaysia (based on the Inland Revenue of Malaysia’s Guidelines) as well as full time foreign employees of a company incorporated in Malaysia.
Individuals aged between eighteen (18) years to fifty nine (59) years (to the nearest birthday) are eligible to apply for the I.ExpatCARE together with their legally married spouse and unmarried children (aged thirty (30) days to nineteen (19) years or twenty three (23) years, if still pursuing higher education and is not gainfully employed).

In-patient Care | |||
The I.ExpatCARE provides in-patient care coverage for admission to a hospital, which includes room & board charges, doctor’s fees (surgeon & anaesthetist’s fees), medical facilities charges as well as special cancer treatment, kidney dialysis and organ transplant charges. | |||
Out-patient Care | |||
Benefits here include consultation fees for a General Practitioner or Specialist for common sickness, bodily injuries, diagnostic tests and medication. Out-patient cancer treatment, kidney dialysis and day care surgery are also part of this benefit. | |||
Extra Benefits | |||
In addition to the above, the I.ExpatCARE includes benefits such as physiotherapy, medical aids (hearing aids, orthopaedic appliances etc.) and treatments performed by complementary medical practitioners (chiropractor, osteopath, acupuncturist and homeopath) that have been prescribed by a doctor. Maternity coverage (except Elective Caesarean Surgery) is also included. |

However, during business trips or holidays not exceeding ninety (90) days, medical expenses incurred in the excluded countries as a consequence of an accident or a medical emergency will be covered up to the limits of the plan purchased. If the medical condition concerned already existed prior to travel to the excluded countries, then the medical expenses related to that medical condition are not covered. |

No benefit shall be payable for any of the following services, products or conditions or injuries resulting from:- | |||
Consequences of a voluntary or intentional act committed by the Insured or his / her dependant or consequences of hazardous competitions; | |||
Consequences of insurrections or riots if by taking part the Insured or his / her dependant has broken the applicable laws; | |||
Consequences of brawls, fights and all kinds of disturbances and measures taken to combat them, except in case of self-defence; | |||
Consequences of the preparation of or participation in crimes or misdemeanours; | |||
Consequences of drug-addiction and alcoholism; | |||
Direct or indirect consequences of any action relating to what is commonly designated as “Nuclear Risk”. This exclusion is not applicable to medical radiations required by covered medical treatment; | |||
Events related to bets or challenges; | |||
Expenses resulting from any kind of competition with motor vehicles; | |||
Flight risk: the insurance covers the use, as a passenger, of all planes, hydro-planes or helicopters duly authorised to transport persons, as long as the Insured is not a member of the crew and does not exercise in the course of the flight a professional or other activity, in relation with the plane or the flight; | |||
Consequences of war or acts of war, and terrorism to the extent mentioned in the Policy Contract; | |||
